A man with curly hair and a mustache sitting on a black armchair in a room with exposed brick and white painted brick walls. He is wearing a brown jacket, black shirt, jeans, and brown boots. There is a large window open behind him and a radiatior below it, with a visible power outlet and a hanging light fixture to the left.

I'm Steven,

Living just outside Glasgow I photograph weddings throughout the UK and abroad (being a mere 10 minutes from the Glasgow airport has its advantages!)

I have covered a wide and varied array of celebrations from intimate backyard gatherings to historic castles with everything in between.

Film sits at the heart of what I do & what I love.

The demands of film requires your attention. Understanding of light, patience with timing, confidence in the moment you choose and decisiveness in pressing the shutter. It's much more a case of making photographs rather than just taking pictures.

Film unlocks a creative process of texture and tones coming together to make something that feels real. Colours sing, moments shine and candlelight shows up just as you remember it. It’s not just capturing the image, it’s bottling the feeling.

I do combine analog photography with digital during the wedding day. Your final gallery will be a curated blend of both mediums.

Life outside the wedding day

I share my life with my wife Becca and our son Cameron.

We try and spend our time exploring - nature, art, music and everything that offers (also Bluey - big Bingo fans here).

Becoming a Dad is without a doubt the greatest experience of my life and has opened so many joyful and unique ways to experience it.
